Finnish public broadcasting company YLE accidentally had wrong subtitles over The Moomins.

Moominmamma: Where is that bold lesbian I fell in love with?
Little My: Fucking shit
Groke: Come on now, Mervi! He(?) keeps touching everyone*
Moomintroll: You’ve just got a too sexy ass for your own good.

*(assuming it’s he. Finnish is gender neutral language so we don’t know who the gender pronoun se is referring - but since Mervi is girl’s name, I assume se means a guy.)

So this reminds me of that one time a swedish politcal debate got it's subtitles mixed up with a kid's show (at least at local newspaper Smålandsposten):

Let me be completely clear - I’m not being a sarcastic ass. I’m just realizing all over again, in real time, for myself, that reading a real life published book makes your neurons feel like they’re getting a spa day. Like I can feel my brain getting juicer and wrinklier with every page I turn. This shit is no joke, this is like hard drugs if hard drugs were good for you and made your brain feel revived and alive.

Sorry I’m derailing your post but: has the way trending tags work always been like that?

If you click on this tag from the trending page, you’ll (as i write this) only find 1 post apart from this one: the popular one. The reason is simple: the tag both use is wrong, “daily life of high school boys” instead of “lives.”

But this proves that the reason why this (incorrect) tag is trending isn’t because it’s being used/searched a lot by users, but only and directly because a post that has this tag is trending.

I think one of the most profound forms of love is "I'll try that, for you. I may not like it, but I'll try it."

It's a confused middle-aged man in a pottery class, whose daughter is helping him with his clay's plasticity. It's a kid scrunching up their brow while listening to their mom's favorite music, trying to figure out why she likes it. It's a girlfriend who says "Yes, I'll go with you" and her girlfriend cheering and buying a second ticket for a con. It's a friend half dragging another friend through an aquarium, the one being dragged laughing and calling out "Wait, wait, I know we're here for the exhibit, but I haven't been here! Slow down!"

It's being willing to spend some of your time trying something new because it makes someone you love happy.
